Taking supplements has been a part of our schedule for a very long time. There are so many companies fighting for the spotlight on this very topic. From a one pill a day, to trying to figure out exactly what amount you need of each thing and taking 20+ supplements a day, everyone seems to have an opinion on what is best.
The most important thing to consider, when approaching this topic, is to make sure your vitamins are being digested correctly and absorbed into the body. If your urine changes color, or has a smell to it, then your vitamin is simply flushing right out of you. If you continue to find yourself tired, have brain fog, have an upset stomach, then that can be a sign your body isn’t digesting your vitamins properly. You will most likely need to make a few changes throughout different seasons, especially if you live in a place that is colder or has more rain for longer periods of time.
